pure speculation but they were a very new account with a lot of gems who in one of their last posts said they "took a very long break and returned", so perhaps second-accounting?

Total speculation but iirc they always bought their gems from FR instead of playing the market and getting gems that way. Maybe they got banned bc they ended up buying BM gems to try and keep up with gem trade demands?

I have noticed in the last few years that quite a few gem sellers have gotten banned. (Like Carnivore, xxxx) so I wonder if there's a correlation or just pure confidence. (again, all pure speculation)

why both cannot be true? i was also thinking about BM gems (because young account with lots of gems is always suspicious) but then noticed their forum posts and went looking to find that second account confirmation.

Getting heavily involved with the premium currency on any site always seems to correlate with doing shady things. Not sure which one causes which, but it's a phenomenon I've noticed.

(da) I have a feeling that staff monitors the major gem traders because that both is an easy way to "launder" gems and an easy thing to track because everything happens in CRs - and it's easy for other players to notice that a major trader is blocked.

they're probably referring to their general attitude around their gem exchange/dom bank topic. insisting that people tip, constant "dear leader" nonsense, shorting people 1g for petty reasons, etc.

they refer to this dear leader pretty incessantly in their gem exchange thread. it's always rubbed me the wrong way due to typical connotations with the term "dear leader", but it's also just kind of cringy and annoying imo.

fwiw, i expect it's either bm gem purchases or multiaccounting; i run a dom shop and every time it opens i used to get huge multi-million T orders from them and two other users, usually at the exact same time, give or take a couple minutes, and all of them got banned on the same day, kind of proving my suspicions that one of those was the case

moonmoo and HazardousH. i haven't seen their names come up in any other drama so i can't really make a solid prediction what they were banned for but like i said, all 3 being banned at the same time makes me curious

NAYRT, but a few months ago Epidemical also approached me to buy a very expensive dragon for Suspense (they didn't mention Suspense, I checked up on the dragon after the sale and it was in their lair). Lo and behold, they're locked too.

They claim they're housemates with Suspense but who knows lol
