My apologies for taking this offsite, but winter events are taking up far too much of my social energy to communicate non-anonymously if I can possibly avoid it. Or if this has already been answered somewhere and I just didn't see it. But if anyone on our dom team, or who just happens to be smarter than I, is here and can answer, I'd appreciate it.

Are in-flighters permitted to pay for ornaments/badges with personally exalted levels? If not, is there any need to keep tracking IDs (besides the Ecosystem, which has always been a little intimidating for me to get involved with).

And if so, can we still keep recording exalts for raffle tickets after we've gotten all the badges we want (which might not happen of course, I haven't mathed it out yet, but there's so much pretty art I'm drooling over. Kudos to my talented flightmates!)?

when I was in nature last year the only way to get the ornament badges IF was to pay for them, unless they changed the policy.

The dom team said:

"you have to send in the dragons to the attendants because we exalt them and covert them into treasure. it helps get us a spot on the leaderboard, but we then take all the earnings from the exalted dragons and give it to the seed bank
So they can use the money that they get from exalting their dragons and buy badges... but it's the money we get from exalting that we're technically using (1 level = 1.5kt)"

Thanks to both nons above, that's also my guess, I was just hoping for something explicit so my paranoid ass could stop recording IDs this week.
