Since this post will be current until January, thought I'd be salty/have fun with it. Let's see if we get Bingo, shall we?

anyone have thoughts/concerns/comments over this? my immediate thought was scam-ability aka how easily it would be for them to take the money and run or them getting locked and people who bought into it losing out.

...also baby's first anon post.

I'm sure the OP means well, but this feels scammy/shady/MLM-ish to me anyway

Totally unsurprised that Suspense thinks it's a good idea, which means, it's a BAD idea.

Buy a percentage of a scroll someone else will buy (and possibly resell), so what are you buying, a bit of someone else's dragon? For a baby's first anon post, another baby's first scam :D

Is 2000 gems that hard to acquire for most players? I feel like if you can't buy a full Wildclaw scroll then you just...should not invest in a partial one either?

For players that aren't artists, selling a hoard of high value old items, or seriously into fodder sales, it actually is.

But yea, this is insanity. Because what stops them from lying and saying I only got this price and pocketing the difference?

Yes. Whether their play style is too casual to afford it, or their impulsive desires prevent them from properly saving up for it...having 2000 gems is pretty hard for a lot of people, lol.

I could have money. If I'd stop buying UMAs and pretty dragons.

You can buy UMAs but you don’t have 2000g saved up?

Typical UMA is only 500 gems. I didn't say custom ones.

"Oh hey look, this cool artist has something new at 500g."

It didn't help my savings that an accent artist I enjoyed decided to wholesale reprint their entire collection before they left the site.

Yea. Generally, at most you're paying a few hundred extra for a convenience fee on WC scrolls outside of cycling. It's not worth it as an investment
