Yea. Generally, at most you're paying a few hundred extra for a convenience fee on WC scrolls outside of cycling. It's not worth it as an investment

Oh shit, I've finally made it onto anon rising, what a honor. But anyways, from what I remember, action was taken immediately when I woke up, as in hit with that ban hammer as soon as I saw that. I don't approve of anything that was said in that whole fiasco, seriously, it's so BAD. About two of the screenshots shown were from the taxidermy server, the others were all from the sub-server.

:'))) I just wanted a place to show off cool bones I cleaned and painted, dammit.

The reasoning why I was mad at the screens being leaked isn't because it showed the bad people in it, but because EVERYONE ELSE was drug into it, even those who weren't involved in the slightest. The entire server list was given to every other flight server and basically anyone that asked. Some of the people in the server didn't even PLAY flight rising and were in there either just as friends or wanted to see cool taxidermy. Some of the people still haven't gotten their names cleared due to it.

Basically - pulling uninvolved people into a giant racist / transphobic / homophobic shitstorm isn't okay.

I can prove that literally the first rule of the server is to not be racist or any kind of -phobic, if you really want me to.

I can't wait to buy eggs for NotN. Assuming eggs will be about 250g again, I'll be able to buy 600.

Why don't you just provide proof and screenshots now? Why do you need to wait until someone asks you for that information?

It honestly doesn't matter what the rules are, what matters is how well you actually enforce those rules. I could create a discord that the first rule was to say meow with every post, and if I didn't enforce that rule, it means nothing.

Plus, the screenshot doesn't really mean much, as we have no clue when those rules were put into place (note: I am not saying that they weren't in place at the time, just that a screenshot with no date stamp, and really no other context, isn't really 'proof')

The above said, I actually don't really care about the orignal stuff that happened, because I can understand that things can get out of hand fast, and it was taken care of.

But the second incident that was being talked about, with the auction, is what upset me.

im not really sure what youre trying to get from this. server "rules" mean nothing in this case as there apparently was a culture or collection of people who felt comfortable saying slurs in the chat. i do feel for the people who got lumped in with the trash but its... weird that youre bringing these affected people up when its unrelated to the g1 auction shitfest. people felt comfortable saying slurs in the server back then, and people feel comfortable bitching out other FR players in the server now. thats all im really getting from the situation.

Oh I brought it up since it was brought up a few comments above and how they thought it was sketchy that I was asleep when the whole thing happened. ( the entire mod team lives on the east coast so literally none of us were awake ) But the rules are most certainly enforced, just you really can't do much when nobody ( mod wise ) is awake. Also these are two entirely different servers.

Resurrecting this thread for a question because this is one of the few places I know my match won't know me: which way would you go, one huge gift or multiple mid-size? Both are the same total worth, just one would be 1 item, the other 4-5

(personally) I find multiple things more fun to receive so that's the direction I went - I imagine you could message your elf to ask your match what they would prefer in this scenario? c:

ayrt - I'd message through elf but they only have one really big thing in their wishlist, so I'd be basically making them choose their own gift lol

How does this work? For example:

Guardian is Fae’a secret Santa.
Fae is Gaurdian’s secret Santa?

Or is it just random like this:

Guardian is Fae’s secret Santa
Fae is Imperial’s secret Santa
Imperial is Mirror’s secret Santa
Etc

Also what if I don’t like the person I’m a secret Santa to :(

I believe it's the second because there's an odd amount of participants!

You could just say you got paired with someone you have blocked and they'll rematch you :D

have you never been in a secret santa or similar event in real life, in school for example?... you don't have to love or even know anything about your match person besides their name and wishlist, you just get them a nice gift.

It's not that deep, I just needed a second or third opinion which way to go?...

i'd be happy either way, getting a bundle of a few items rather than one might feel nice tho. make sure one of the items is worth at least 50% of the tier if you go that way.
