If you want to see it as me being offended, go ahead. I was trying to explain to OP why they received such backlash, but it seems it went over some heads.

As for others that seem to follow the convo trail, try better than being an ass. As a minority in my country, I hope people like some of you never defend or argue in our stead by using such tone and language to "help the cause".
Whoever wrote the reply jumped to white fragility, instead of debunking my statement that OP set the tone of discussion badly.
What is there to talk about when saying "you sounded like an ass when asking, so you got backlash" and being met with "white fragility in action". So why should I keep the conversation going?
