He might be developmentally disabled?? It’s not uncommon for disabled adults to have an obsession or hobby that’s usually geared towards a younger crowd
Please do not do this. It comes across very insulting and suggests that adults only like things if they are disabled. Sometimes adults just like things. This idea that you have to give up liking certain things because you're "too old" is discouraging and demeaning.
I still like plenty of things "for kids," including Flight Rising. I'm not disabled, and even if I were, that wouldn't have to be the reason I like it.
I'm sorry if this comes across poorly or mean-spiritedly, that isn't my intent.
Yes to all this (and I don't think it came across as mean fwiw), and implying that disabled people like kids stuff because they're disabled is infantilizing and plays into the bs concept of 'mental age'. Disabled adults are still adults. I liked Winnie the Pooh when I was 3 and I'll like him when I'm 30 lol, it's valid and would still be valid if I weren't disabled
this criticism isnt about him being an adult who likes things aimed at a younger audience. the criticism is him having a long history of inappropriate/irresponsible behavior and acting childish in response.
I love the hideous stereotyping of autistic people liking Sonic/MLP. You're gross. Be better.
Also I know so many adults that love Animal Crossing and it has nothing to do with being disabled? Animal Crossing is a game that anyone can enjoy. You're being so gross and weird. Please stop trying to stereotype disabled adults like you're defending them when all you're doing is pushing belittling stereotypes.

This is dangerously close to crossing a line. Tread carefully, and don't complain if you end up shoving your foot in your mouth.
