glad that no one is being nasty to the artist but i'm surprised that most users seem okay with this? i feel like it's kind of shitty that a runner up lost to a literal almost copy and paste skin that already won
the artist's art has obv improved since 2017 but did you really need to just do the same concept over again?
Artist response bothers me. "IT WAS JUST A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT AND THE ADMINS ACCEPTED IT". So you knew that it would be kind of feels bad man if you won and you entered it anyway? Mmmmm don't like that. No siree don't like that all.

oh wow no wonder the skin looked so familiar lmao its a cool concept but...yeah it already had its moment of glory. someone else's unique idea could have won and that sucks. :(
i honestly do not understand why this is an issue, tbh honestly promising that this isn't going to kickstart a wave of skin\accent artists remaking their old things just to win again when the festival prices are complete bullshit and not worth the time, and I'm very much wondering whether the staff is even aware that the female version of this skin already won 4 years ago. that skin isn't a copy paste either btw, it seems completely newly drawn.
It's not like the "submitted this last year and it didn't win, so let's try again!" it's more like "i already won once with this exact skin on WCF so here it is on a WCM" and it just frustrates me.
I get they're allowed and I'm dumb for being upset but it's like, someone else with a NEW skin/accent could've gotten a spot.
It was four years ago the first won. I'd agree with you if it was last year and this year but I think there's enough space that I'm fine with it. I think paired skins are neat and this one is more accessible than some.
Yeah, the only reason why I probably don't like it (aside from the whole fest skin slot thing) is that I actually don't much care for paired skins. :'D I'm happy for the ones who like it, but I feel like it's fair that I can be disappointed.
