Wobbit

Out there scamming/lowballing users of their valuable G1s again.
Lurking in GD as you do, I saw someone talk about some hatching and scatter luck, including an XXY obs. Couple days later (aka yesterday) I decide to look the obs up and lo and behold it's in Wobbits lair.

Now I know Wobbit is a sketchy person so I DM'd the person and they sold their XXY obs for 27kg, which is abit low considering the past few XXY sales have been closer to 50kg and up, I do like to keep track incase a dream gets hatched and for sale some day :)

Anyway it's not the first time someone who don't know the G1 market gets taken advantage of and it's not the first time Wobbit does stuff like this.

i hate scammers that technically aren't breaking rules, they get so smuuug about it if you confront them

and then fr doesn't allow public blacklists

AYRT
Yeah it sucks, especially when Wobbit isn't even the worst of them all when we got people like Kolob, luckless and so on out there.

When I saw this post a while ago, I squinted because I recognized the OG seller. I see them all the time posting cheap cuties in the AH and they just struck me as not looking for max level sales.

Today while I was scrolling through some other drama blogs, I found this ask. https://draconian-drama.tumblr.com/post/649841504118013952/

Since it's anon it should be taken with a grain of salt buuut it fits with the story and what I know of the seller... OP's post here smells like BS cuz of that. I bet there was a response to their last DM saying exactly what the DD anon ask says that they conveniently left out so they could white knight for someone who "got taken advantage of" and sold a dragon to someone they didn't like. Fair enough you don't like them, but this doesn't seem like a case of scamming at all. Consensual lowballing is a thing! Lol

Granted I think it is great that genuinely selfish and malicious hearted people get called out on their bs, but yeah sometimes people just want to be cool and knowingly sell things for less because they want to. Every once in a while I will "raid" someones wishlist if it has treasure genes and just dump them with like 5 genes because I can!

Considering what a douchebag Wobbit is, can you blame folks for not thinking that they're a standup guy?

AYRT/OP here
If I wanted to whiteknight I'd put in the sellers name but I didn't and I have no interest in whiteknighting either.

I never got a reply to the last DM I sent them so, can't really do much more there.
https://gyazo.com/b6cf7fee9f0f6bb5111ddd2c386bac86 my inbox incase you don't believe me :)

Consensual lowballing is fine and I'm glad the seller was happy with the price, but as I said and some others supposedly agree on, Wobbit has been doing this for years, it's not the first time and they're not the only person lowballing and in some cases outright scamming other users (Oahu/Rosewing saga from Banescale release comes to mind as well) and they won't be the last either.
