hell I'd do this for some food points and positive encouragement
the only g1 sold to the wrong person i'm acquainted with is when someone meant to send me a pa and accidentally listed the dragon on realmwide and it got bought by someone else
it wasn't really drama though just a silly occurrence (i did get the dragon back so no harm no foul)

As an experienced cheater (TM) for many pet sites, I cannot explain enough how fucking stupid the seller (and buyer) is.
There is never ANY reason to give this much fucking information on an account you're trying to sell. I wouldn't even give some of this information to interested buyers privately.
Number one thing that bothers me though is the screenshot floating around of the post has up at the top that the item was sold but the topic is staying for prosperity?? Fucking dumbass, delete that shit!!!! You shared so much information that people years down the road could tie it to the account you sold.
Also don't post on a semi inactive account that you're planning to sell? ESPECIALLY posts that involve you literally LISTING the things included in your sale topic.
Also dumb to take screenshots of their hoard. No reason at all to do that unless you want staff to have the ability to really know that it's your account being sold. Might not mean too much for normal users, but I'm sure staff can see exactly what you have in your hoard if they needed to, and you just provided screenshots to line up with what you have when someone reports you.

Ok wait that's 100% the account that was selling the triple gold g1 on forums for 100-110kg a few days ago. Wonder how they got it considering it was up on AH for ~300kg on a different account up until recently. Maybe a multi or a black market sale? My money's on multi since they spent their whole stimmy check on the account. I don't remember the name of the account of its original owner unfortunately, but I'm pretty sure they were in nature.

tbf the drama isn't so much about the triple gold as it's about the fact Obelisks was sold via rmt.

Sorry, I should've clarified - the original original account that was selling the triple gold for 300kg was in nature. Likely nothing to do with the current owner.

Since there's no chance to post this in forums... I love the flight I chose, never even vacationed, the aesthetics are on point, love my flight eyes and everything FR-official about it! But I grew to fucking hate the flight community, both dom and not dom. Every time someone pings me in my flight forums or I look into flight discords, I am disappointed at best (and then I get angry because that disappointment taints the love I feel for the aesthetics). I am not sure what to do, thoughts?

I started in Plague because I adored it- the eyes, the lore, the aesthetics, Plaguebringer, all of it.
The discord was great- until people given admim/mod privileges became trigger happy. Dom became more of a militant thing that caused a rift in the community, and people were getting strikes, even muted in discord if the mods didn't like what they were saying.
I ended up going to Shadow, because it was my second favouite aesthetic, lore, etc. I only dipped into the discord for a little bit, and it's actually pretty dead, so I dipped back out, and I now just quietly enjoy Shadow on my own.

I loved the lore in Fire, but the community ended up really rubbing me the wrong way, so I left after a couple years, moving to Light for the eyes. Spent a couple years really active in Light community. Now I've drifted, part due to RL and part due to quitting tumblr in 2018? when that went sideways, but with non-flight-restricted discords, I wouldn't mind moving flights again. Ice seems good eyes-wise, but I don't want to drop 1500g to move there, and I like the passive dom benefits when Light gets them.
I'd say join some other discords and see if those are a better fit socially, and remove yourself from in-flight pinglists.

I'm surprised to hear about Shadow's discord being like that. Aren't they the largest or 2nd largest flight?
I loved my starting flight, but i got tired of the aesthetic after a while and also, wanted to be in flight where they got Dom more often. So i took a break in Light (this was pre Earth Dominance, pardon the pun) and was....not very happy there. I just didn't fit, i clashed with how the leaders wanted to do things (not other flight members, they were super nice to me. I just didn't...i didn't auto obey i guess, and that's what the leaders at the time seemed to want, in someone who was going to do Dom and that's just not how i roll at anytime so like, obviously i wasn't going to feel like i belonged lol) so i switched back to my OG flight as soon as i could.

I can't give a lot of details without outing some folks, but one of the mods, Mercedes, got really power hungry and started making changes about things that folks liked- like removing reactions, being aggressive about even the slightest OT thread of conversation, and getting testy if anyone spoke up about how she was being heavy handed and overreactive.
Someone in the chat actually mentioned that it would be nice if the admins made the change logs visible to the chat, so everyone could see what changes were made, for transparency... and then they went quiet- and it turns out they'd been muted. Couldn't talk, couldn't see chat. So they left, and KyraG actually got MAD at them for leaving instead of talking to her (even though finding her on discord is a pain in the ass bc she uses weird ass emoji in her handle)
Then, Mercedes and another mod- Nukleer, IIRC got nasty to another person over a discussion about folks using the term queer. (The person said "Idc if you use the term, just don't use it for me, it was used as a slur against me and I don't like it" and Nukleer kept using it for them.)
