(Anonymous) 2021-03-08 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)i come to this comm for juicy dragon drama. not tumblr sjw or phobia drama. half of this comm isnt even about FLIGHTRISING DRAMA anymore. its just users bitching about who agrees with what preference, and who identifies with what preference
its exhausting to read

(Anonymous) 2021-03-09 11:01 am (UTC)(link)I'm happy to learn about shitty and hateful people to add to my block list, but I can definitely see how that is exhausting from the mod side of things because you constantly have to be on the lookout for someone who will take it too far.
On the one side you have the phobes and bigots who are angry that they can't hate people for existing. Somewhere in the middle is a VERY narrow place for a moderately healthy discussion. And then at the other end, you have people who just want to argue and every once in a while there's someone who thinks that a person having shit beliefs is a good excuse to tell them to off themselves.
I would love to see naming hateful individuals remain allowed, but maybe a ban or some sort of limitation has to be set on discussions of the matter if people aren't able to be civil or normal about it. But yall mods also have to take care of your own mental health, so if you gotta ban it completely, I'll support that too.
