ADDENDUM TO RULE THREE (3): Because I do NOT want another instance of shit that happened this month, and the shit that happened in @anonrising, Fandom Politics are NOT ALLOWED. This includes, but is not limited to:

•         Anti/Proshipping war bullshit      

*These subjects almost inevitably bring up Anti/Proship bullshit and there are folks on both sides who might be triggered by certain content, or feel dismissed by various argument points on both sides. As a result, THEY ARE  NOT ALLOWED. This site is for DRAGON DRAMA, not your Pro/Anti shipping bullshit. Take it to fandomwank or fandom_secrets or whatever other platform they're using nowadays.

just got blocked by an artist who refused to deliver my commission from literally november after they accepted my cr (1500g) in also November.

They stopped responding to my messages in early january while doing comms for other people and wouldn’t just refund me.

I’ve also had a rough day at work so to come online to see this is rough.
Anyone have something good happen today, online or irl?

i feel bad abt doing it (and even why ive been so hesitant to complain abt it) because the artist says they have mental health stuff going on (which i totally get!!) but they just like. straight up ignored me/all my messages since jan. i also feel bad because ive been getting kind of public abt asking for my comm on art threads which is prob why they finally blocked me

Mental health is important, but so is communication. Blocking a customer and taking their funds without giving the art is theft.

Call them out so they can get a wake up call when folks stop buying from them because they don't want to risk being burned.

Name and shame in the walker thread nonny. As an artist with mental illness it isn't okay for them to scam you even unintentionally. If they weren't able to finish the commission they should have told you and refunded you the whole amount
