First, open up your AH Recent History. Select Purchased (or Sold if you're recording your outgoings) and the quantity you want to work with.

Select the text of the listings in question. Make sure to select all of each listing, from price to the dragon's name.

Go to this website:
https://textmechanic.com/text-tools/basic-text-tools/remove-lines-containing/

Clear out the big text field and paste your data in there.

((If you've got more than 50 listings, you can go to the next page of your recent history in a separate window, copy out the data on that page, and paste it below the first chunk. Repeat as many times as you want.))

In the 'Search lines for:' field, put the character '#', then click the 'NOT CONTAINING' button. Select-all the output text and copy it.

Go to this website:
https://www.browserling.com/tools/extract-column

Paste from your clipboard into the big text field.

In the 'Column number' field, enter '2'.
In the 'Column delimiter' field, enter '#'.

Click 'Extract Column!'.

The output will be a raw list of IDs.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has simpler ideas, but this one has always worked well for me. The two websites I linked are really handy for bulk text management in general.

Hmm hmm, you can also just use MS Word (I have incidentally just migrated to LibreOffice and it has the exact same search functionality, IDK about other text processors) to search the input for this regexp:

#[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]

Find All and then Copy

This will only find 8-digit IDs but there might actually be a regexp for "any string of digits" that I'm not aware of?

#[0-9]*

Found me all ID lengths I tried

NA

Simpler idea: Don't have your poor attendants record IDs.

There is no downside to this. It doesn't make anything harder to verify; CR and PA history is all there.

I have been running 'official' dom raffles since 2016, and I tell ya - I've actually had MORE problems with raffles where IDs are recorded than with raffles I've run where IDs are not recorded. Whether it's a fest push, uncontested conquest, or a heated conquest battle, my experience is the same - it is not worth it to make attendants record IDs.

Not only this, but not recording IDs takes a major load off of your attendants! Attending/receiving is already is pretty big task, especially with raffles, and with fewer volunteers, it makes it even harder for them.

I have had fewer mistakes & errors, more attendant participation, and overall quicker service by not having my attendants record IDs than I have EVER had when IDs were recorded.

tldr - don't make your poor attendants record IDs!

it made sense before the cr and ah revamps, but now the records are there!
