i think they got banned for their clans lore, because the tumblr was still connected sometimes to their profile, but staff bans anyway even if it would have been 100% disconnected
the lore is edgy as hell, but feel free to read. I checked it out again a while ago so the link and stuff is fresh in my mind

Huh, I didn't know talking about lore on a separate site was a banning offense. I thought they might have gotten in trouble because what they wrote in the dragon bios was pretty hairy too but had a vague suspicion they were doing black market stuff on the side or something idk

I have to doubt that they got in trouble if it was entirely off-site. The admins have been pretty consistent about not taking action for things that don't occur on FR. I find it far more likely that they had a link to the rule-breaky stuff on their FR somewhere, which isn't allowed. Or it could have been something else entirely, I don't recall them being candid about why they were banned so it may remain a mystery forever.

I think it's because the lore involves slavery and maybe sexual violence, not sure about the latter part. But slavery is a big no-no, as seen in the Code of Conduct.

99% sure it was BM related, it was around the time of some KS item scandal

Didn't the owner said it was an analogy between the players and the dragons or something, like the players are super cruel masters that bred for money, buy/sell dragons on a whim, completely ignoring dragon's free will etc etc

honestly, if you take every care aspect of the game at hand, it's kinda dark
breed ugly dragons, level them, send them to the gods for money
breed pretty dragons, put them on the market, sell living sentient beings (goes for familiars too) for a lot of money

melting sentient beings (at least certain familiars) into a pot to get goo to reassemble into another familiar using the same pot

I completely agree, I think it's an example of ludonarrative dissonance, the lores and npc all clearly states that dragons are living sentient beings just like human, and yet buying/selling/breeding dragons are all core mechanics of the game, which when translates to human, it's really horrifying.

It's kinda why I don't write lore, because it is hard to ignore the gameplay while being a breeding/exalting lair.
