idk it's like this game is thiiiis close to being good and they do seem to listen to the suggestion forum but aaarrrrghhh

it's like they are straddling the line between being decent AND wanting a slice of that sweet mobile gacha free to play scum game market

but so many of their design decisions would make more sense if the site had ads, which it doesn't???

The game isn't even doing f2p gacha shit properly.

1. Most of the clothes in the game are pretty cheap. Apparently, it's only about 1 million potatoes to get all of the non-retired clothes (from NPCs) in the game or about 8000 gems. Overall I don't see a lot of incentive to make money in this game. I play pretty casually and sell most of my potatoes for FR currency and never feel lacking.

2. It's a pain to convert turnips (the premium currency) to potatoes. Unlike in FR, you can't sell them directly. You need to buy a premium item like a premium pass and then sell it to another player. I think a lot of people just buy FR gems instead.

3. The game just isn't flashy enough to warrant the gacha mentality. Other than collecting clothes and pets there's not that much to do. And most of the pets aren't so desirable or limited that people would feel the need to spend a ton of money for them.

Anyways I think the game is pretty boring. I don't mind boring petsite stuff and I like getting FR currency so I feel motivated to play. But the active userbase dropped by more than half after two months. I know that's normal for numbers to drop and not every site can be a FR, but I feel like that's still kinda sad. There was so much hype around the game and the admins couldn't figure out ways to polish it in two years.
