Okay, I saw the teaser Gif at a slower rate on FB, so saw what people are talking about (before it was just so fast Icouldn't catch the darkening of the water, and on FR it looked like the water was always that dark).

The black is like... super lazily half ass blended, and the symbols look sloppy.
Feels more like a rushed attempt at being first to release accents than actually make a quality one.

not really feelin' it, there's a lot of sea creatures with little appendages / spines / floaty fins to make it more sea-like, but they put some roughed up feathers instead :/ I feel like a lot of terts are hit-or-miss as well (like the nudibranch that has the potential to look really great but looks more like thick uniform spines 💀

I've never liked this trend of theirs because of how messy they look, but they seem reasonably popular so to each their own.
