It is kind of obvious Mindless is joking about it, for a multitude of reasons. On the other hand it is quite tiresome we're constantly being compared to 4chan and kiwifarms by the nitwits on SMR. It's literally a "Tell me you haven't been on either of those sites without telling me you haven't been on either of those sites".
Also we did have someone who literally posted someones LinkedIn profile not too long ago, so without context as to where OP got the image from it is safe to assume someone decided to dig through the web for info, more so than assuming they got them in a public space.
It is not the least bit obvious, and if Mindless was really trying to make a joke then I strongly advise them to not attempt such jokes while moderating. That's just asking for trouble, especially when talking about a serious subject like doxxing.
I get that some people have been crappy before. A moderator's job is to be better than that.
Bah, I think you're too serious nonnie. SMR is dumb, harmless, but most importantly, boring. Sure, their "wholesome drama" schtick is annoying, and one could argue that if this place put a permanent thread on them the regulars would feel attacked, which depending on how much you want to see the world burn, could be fun to you.
But you are conflating Doxing, and how serious it is (don't mind that is also a nuke for communities here), with the mods and the meme of SMR (I bet most of the regulars here also use it).
As the anon who brought this up to begin with, I think you need to lighten up lol. Mindless mod already admitted to coming at it the wrong way. Whether they take it to heart or not remains to be seen, but beating this dead horse isn't gonna change that it happened and I don't think we have any reason to assume the worst. Making a joke about a SMR thread that went over your head doesn't make them a bad mod.
