Just played the worst round of Mistral Mahjong ever. I cleared about a third of the turtle board before I got to the point where I needed to shuffle, but then I just. Kept getting really bad shuffles. I would shuffle the board and match one pair of tiles, then have to shuffle aGAIN. and again. and again

and I realise this sounds incredibly petty now but the salt is real man

I once allowed my roommate to use my paypal to buy gems for a WC cycle-in, bc Paypal had frozen their account because they had just legally changed their name, and Paypal threw a shit fit over it.

I had used my own account to buy gems for WC scrolls THAT DAY.

That was three years ago, and we're both still playing, ban free. (We're no longer roommates.)

Only way I could see that being an issue is if they're doing that multiple times on the same paypal for the same two accounts on a regular basis.

Because microsoft and other companies released a mahjong solitaire game and that is the game most people know in like the US.

My bet is that account is attached to the paypal email they contacted staff using instead of using the Hemo account's email.

Which is basically a smoking gun on a multiaccount situation, as well as Hemo having been repeatedly reported for shitty behavior.

Staff probably thought Christmas came early.

This. There are some colours I hate the accent colours typically used for them, such as Radioactive (that pink + the busy-ness hurts my eyes in Jag/Ros) and Crimson (that blue is gross), so it's great to see another gene that doesn't add accent colours.

Oh yeah I've had that happen with butterfly. Had at least one bad round where I wasn't able to eliminate one of the two top corner groups. Even four shuffles in, couldn't get rid of the pesky top tile and ended up giving up. RIP.

They're acting like it's a temporary ban that'll get lifted on the g1 discord, talking about plans for money because someone ABed one of their ongoing forum auctions through the AH after the ban occurred.(I'm guessing the bidder decided it was worth it to not lose the dragon to a locked account.)

No. To be honest, pretty safe bet they won't.

Truth is, if you're going to do this, change the email on the old one to something you don't use, don't hint at your new account, and change the password to key smashes.

If you do that and never log back in, staff are unlikely to ever catch you.

I know why they have a thread here, I want to know what the AAA mods said they're banning Hemo for, because it seems to be recent? Or at least I haven't seen anyone mention they did actually get banned until yesterday.

I think you read wrong- they're not banned from discord, they're talking about their ban ON discord like it's going to be lifted, bc they're an idiot.

I am most curious about the difference in oof raffle previews tbh. But what bothers me (and is currently making me not want to participate in the boarding efforts) is this line from the battle terms
"Boarding will not have an exclusive raffle. Instead, boarding awards tickets to each flight's OOF Raffle."

They're making it sound like it's not the done thing to do both. Like, i don't mind that they're shaking things up (that much), but that "instead" sure reads like false advertising.

(And relatedly, if the OOF boarding doesn't contain a raffle, why is the thread in the raffle forums?)

I may be petty, but I'm not boarding for them now :D
