Irony is telling me I'm dramatic for refusing to directly pay a site for decisions I don't like yet in the same breath telling me to leave as if 'slamming doors' isn't a classic overdramatic teenage tantrum - you're not making that strong of a statement either.

It's not throwing a teenage tantrum. It's deciding the game isn't what you want and moving on.

I honestly think the not spending money and blocking adds to spite staff while staying is more of a teenage tantrum.

several g1 imp accounts have been targeted, at least five of them.

a few other KS ones. Since some are in the process of 'recovering' i think it'd get them in trouble to list out.

short version: people are currently trying to gain access to FR accounts using external password lists, so staff locked down the site. expected downtime is less than a day. NotN will be extended.

that's weird. I'm an old user who has a full set of KS items who has never been targeted. but i guess i will change my password just to be safe.

It's usually the folks who haven't been on for years.

Their dragons, outfits, and overall clan is stuck in early 2013's. Makes it easy for no one to notice their stuff get looted, sent to shell accounts, and vanish off.

It is, blame LastPass.

Maybe they mean well, but I am so sick of conspiracy theories that they're now on my shit list.

My one upside to this is discovering ARR while I was wondering what prompted the sudden unscheduled downtime. Haven't been active in years, kinda nice to see that there's some longevity post-AR at all.

I was in the Coli right up to it, I wonder if I kept my loot.

Kind of annoying that the site is in maintenance mode for so long, but at least they're extending NOTN to compensate.

honestly, i was wondering if the post about 2FA and updating your password/confirming email was because they knew there was a possible security breach that might impact them. or maybe it's just absolutely shit timing. either way, i don't envy the clusterfuck they're handling between notn & obe gene upset, and irl stuff like holidays and this terrible covid wave.
