Seriously, the info was not presented well over there and it was trolled to hell. I posted here after the mods on the saltmine were talking about cutting off discussion, so no clear answers were coming out of that place at that point.

The anons that explained it here were calm and concise in explaining it. Had I not asked?(If poorly worded, as I apologized for) I'd be staying clear of that Discord's users and not buying from Hemo or the ones vocally involved on both sides after seeing that mess.

Now? Hemophobia is outright blocked on site so that I won't buy any of their accents by accident.

For real. I don't know why this discussion, especially over on tumblr, turned into blaming the skin artists. Clearly Hemophobia's work was a bit of a ripoff in some aspects, yet the original artists are getting attacked for daring to use horns or plants in their art. Nobody's claiming they own those themes. How dare the artist use a generic theme*, this is their fault! (/s).

*And use it in a unique enough way that you can easily recognize when it's being copied.

I've seen this exact kind of drama over the years now so often, it's really no surprise to me that accent artists leave the website, release less or don't want to be interacted with.
you really wonder why you actually create those things then. and why you invest time into making stuff for people who apparently give no shit about the artist and art. gotta make that dragon pretty after all.
yes i know accents aren't big giant illustrations and whatever, but you still invest time and energy into them nevertheless. also big shoutouts to the people who go "if you submit an accent it's official a FR item now". way to miss the mark.

Who are your favorites, anon? I've really been into the wild animal changing skins popping up myself. Examples like the centipede skin from this RoR, the wolfhead accent from Goblincat (all of Goblincat's work in general tbh), and the rabbit magician spiral from Brightmyth.

This is the first time I have not seen a single post-rollover dom shop during the last day of a festival. Being a last minute buyer is suffering.

The time change also fucked me up, I forgot to spend my last one and a half stacks of shrooms and put on a Token to brew... :(

First day payouts are almost always bad, and not indicative of the rest of the week. Usually flights agree to a price freeze for the first 24h while they settle most of their OOF boarding.

^ this ^. Even WvE prices were bad on the first day if you'll recall! Boarders need time to sort out getting all their dragons back; if you've boarded any substantial amount of dragons it's gonna take you time to get all those dragons back and exalted, esp since most boarders are taking on dragons from multiple people. Wait 24 hours and things will be back to business as usual for a dom fight.

Their attitude alone is enough to make me miffed, but also is it me or do they as well as CloudQueen’s and ViridisDeas’ bio information sound extremely similar. ViridisDeas also confirmed to be an alt based on the comment pages. This was originally going to be about how shinywoooloo annoyed me but then I dug a bit deeper and saw this.

Can't find either of those other people in the thread, but I looked at their profiles and CloudQueen says at the bottom "Thinking of makin a Shadow alt account because Shadow is freaking awesome!" which just makes me laugh. Somebody's a little new!

Sorry, should’ve clarified. I saw em on shinywooloos profile so I did a little digging and came to the alts conclusion. It may be a bit of a reach for me though, i was caught up in the moment of annoyance

To clear it up, the person who said that came forward and said they honestly thought it was a thing. Apparently they saw a mod say something about people being banned for their own health if they are in the coli 8+ hours, which isn't true, as there have been people spending longer and not get banned (banned from the coli).

I am wondering if it was perhaps a mod saying that people *should* be banned for their own health if they spend that long in the coli, and not that they would be?
