Unfortunately some people do care a lot and get rude about it, and I think people want to preemptively put a damper on that by stating a 'good' reason. It's their right to do so but I don't like that it sometimes comes from feeling pressured into it. It's very easy to forget about messages that you've read but intended to reply to later even with 0 disabilities/health problems, 'out of sight out of mind' etc.

There should just be less expectation for people to respond @ the speed of a face-to-face convo lol. I'm busy and have a spaghetti strainer for a brain okay
