wait, its frowned upon to resell accents? I literally have 80 UMAs in my hoard and I only have 30 permas and they all already have accents/skins. I was planning on reselling but I guess not now :|
dude, just sell them, its like you brought a piece of art for your house and after some years you want something new or don't like it anymore so you sell it on ebay, will the artist come after you and yell? no.
just be courteous and don't buy things solemnly to resell, that's rude af in a way, letting old things cycle back into the market is alright instead of hoarding it, just asking metaphorical five billion gems for something the artist released merely a month ago is bullshit
Nothing bad about reselling by itself, there's no use in letting an unused UMA rot in your hoard! But buying someone else's art specifically to profit off of it is very antisocial behavior. I can't imagine many artists love feeling used like that.
people don't like resellers when they hog up as many slots as they can from limited print runs because they know they'll make bank reselling something that will be in limited supply, you're probably okay anon
+1 To the above. Hoarding spots on limited runs is scummy. I've gotten lucky over the years to get most of the limited/rare prints I wanted just by being patient (tastes change and whatnot) ... but it helped that I had a large collection to trade for sure!
This is a 'same hat' situation. Totally cool to buy skins and accents just because 'oh, pretty!' Sometimes you end up with a dragon wearing it and sometimes you don't. We call get smacked by the shiny thing bug now and again.
