Also, at that point why not just get a VPN? They're not terribly expensive or difficult to set up, and FR has yet to get suspicious with me for setting my location to a different country practically every day. They're just good for being on the internet in general, but it does seem like it would more specifically solve the problem of a malicious neighbor using the same IP.
Right? They said it's been a reoccurring problem and a VPN would be super easy solution, tbh.
Also if they know it's because they have a weird neighbor that stalks and harasses them online, why aren't they blocking them? Like I'm not saying it's impossible for people to literally follow you around online to harass you, but they know that MF is this harasser.... So block and don't interact......
To me, in addition to the two accounts behaving way too similarly in general even before this, the whole story just seems very over the top with too many 'woah wait whaaaat' details. Do people actually live like this? Of course - I'm sure a lot of us know such people with just unbelievable personal drama, but under these circumstances it just looks awfully sus to me. Like, I thought they might be the same person before they got banned - now I think that even more.
Plus, as other people have pointed out, if their relationship was this toxic for this long, why haven't they at least blocked one another or refused to communicate? They regularly replied to each other's posts from what I saw. If it was just an issue of Mystiek not wanting to piss off MistFury further (which I could understand), why is Mystiek still willing to vehemently call them out in public on the site SEVERAL times? That seems even more likely to make them mad than just blocking.
I also a little hmmmm at Mystiek saying they've been banned from websites 5 times now. Was it petsites for multi accounting, or social sites in general for just bad behavior (that I guess they're trying to link back to MistFury)? Seems like they've had plenty of opportunity to try to perfect a story for themselves for the next time it happens. I mean, how many people got frozen on Neopets for being dumbasses and tried to pull the 'that was my brother actually' card? It's a classic internet move to blame your actions on a made up person - why not go the step further and actually make that person?
Ultimately, it could be one person or it could be two, and we're probably never going to know the truth, but it doesn't really matter - same person or not, they were extremely annoying assholes and hopefully make good on their promise to not come back.
And to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if aspects of the story between the two are true or even that they both exist irl - I just have doubts that both people are actually users on flight rising dot com who hate the eye update so much they couldn't stop mentioning it. I'd sooner believe Mystiek just made another account and that account's persona is based on their neighbor/ex friend.
I was watching for the new dragons at rollover and was also pretty disappointed that they went to such obvious storage lairs. Especially the midnight. (Also the replies on that post like on one hand yeah I definitely believe it but also that's kind of an obsessive degree to track a multi ring tbh)
my fave user strikes again, relating to the Bright Eyes update and receiving clanbound vials:
'Ummmm... thanks, I guess. I guess I'll just hold onto them until I'm able to unlock them. :/'
at this point I'm convinced they must be either a troll or have serious memory problems, because they've already been told (more than once) that clanbound items don't need to be unlocked...
also: what the hell do they do? what is the point in playing this game for them? they believe they can't expand their lair, and all their dragons seem to be 5-6 years old, so they're not buying new dragons. they can't breed their dragons, because no lair space. they don't interact on the forums apart from being gloomy at new updates. why keep coming back? what is there to do???
https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/68202747 triple blackberry from a month ago
https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/69288869 triple phthththahthtlo from last week (only one that went to an actual user) https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/69288870 triple midnight from last week https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/69288871 triple hunter from last week don't mind me, I just want to save these dragon ids for a second somewhere for easy access
At this point I'm absolutely convinced that they saw someone post about them and decided to turn it into an elaborate trolling scheme. Or they just decided to do it for fun because the game got boring to them.
oh i just wanted to have the whole batch here not implying the user Feet does something shady, it's just interesting to see two thirds of the dragons went to suspicious accounts
AnpuRa if you are a troll and get your rocks off with people complaining about you, just stop. You are neither funny nor edgy for playing dumb on the forums. It just makes people question your ability to operate a computer in the first place.
...Uh oh. The midnight prize is now in another users lair. I also noticed that the new user sold a Skycat for 150kG today (May 13) and I really hope they didn't sell that just to buy the xxx :(
concerned as in, the gems went to a shady ass storage account that are just going to be funneled to a greedy POS and not a legitimate user who won the xxx without rigging the system
Ah, yeah, considering that it looks like the midnight already moved accounts that's more than fair. And it looks like the hunter had the 'ask for price' removed from its bio so hmmm. (also. user /who/?)
