to be more lighthearted, i just want to go a little crackpot ship of theseus, because that i have a dragon using the following as lore and like to go pepe silvia jokingly about it:
as baldwin was a pearlcatcher before creating the mutagen that created bogsneaks and mutating into one himself, and that bogsneak is still baldwin regardless of current form and pearlcatchers are born from the lightweaver, baldwin should still originate from the lightweaver and makes bogsneaks a light origin breed.
