some people on this site use the word “clique” to refer to what others might describe as “having friends”

i feel like i constantly see complaints of discord servers for “cliquey behavior” when theres no intentional exclusion or gossip going on. just people being friends and sharing jokes. leaving any server where people make friends is a self fulfilling prophecy dude!!! join in some conversations!!! youll become a “regular” eventually. its scary but its worth it. feels like the attitude is rooted in social anxiety which is understandable but you cant make that other peoples problem by bitching about it publicly.

so many fr servers nowadays are revolving doors of people who just post for a bit and leave. no room to talk about anything other than fr or make new connections. it feels so stale. bring back cliquey
