I assume it's a combo of Light just having finished a conquest push, Shadow doing festival stuff AND the upcoming Plague push? Granted, adult fodder doesn't look particularly expensive to me right now (around 6.5kt per adult as of the time of this post) but I also admit I haven't really been keeping tabs on the prices.
