Just keep the art. It's your art, even if the artist is a dick as a person. Just don't link the maker past the signature in it.

I don't know you, but if you feel like this, I doubt you are a garbage person. Garbage people wouldn't care. You're just a person that made a mistake in friends. We all do that.
