Oh man, I remember back when rare color combos were a thing. People would put things like "1 of 12 active dragons with these colors!" in their sales posts and treat it as a legitimate selling point. That got pretty well blown out of the water by the color wheel expansion, and I don't miss it. I guess this user does though.
yes but also it looks like this is a very casual player who took a bunch of long breaks so i'm not surprised by them being clueless. IMO the game's economy hasn't changed too much, things like fest skins and "expensive" hatchery dragons have always been a bitch to sell. the main changes in the economy that ive seen since 2015ish are rising prices for "always valuable" items like unhatched eggs and coli battlestones and gem exchanges rising. rising prices on things like retired items and hibden/swipp/etc items skyrocketing in price once they have a use are just to be expected.
