There are so many things wrong with that comment but I already know that trying to explain anything to this person isn't going to get through to them. Ugh.

Like, why would anyone want something other than for all users to be treated equally? They don't know if they'll ever go on hiatus in the future, or for what reason, nah they think they deserve better than others because they're superior somehow. Selfish and entitled.

It's also just plain wrong that Galore sets some kind of precedent for things not falling into your account's lap simply for existing. You have to come onto the site and incubate eggs if you want them to hatch, you have to select gathering turns to use them, you have to go over to the other parts of the Trading Post to get items from those dragons, you have to collect currency and exchange it with Joxar to get holiday items... the list goes on and on. The only examples of accounts automatically getting things for existing are from the early days of the site when downtime was actually a problem, which going by their join date Corviknight didn't even experience. Every part of their argument is so embarrassingly weak and just plain wrong.
