SA And you know, I'm going to add - I also don't want any site-sanctioned explicitly LGBT+ labelled stuff for FR even though I am bi myself. I don't like how on other sites there are people who, once LGBT+ emojis, badges, whatever come out, are immediately labeling you either the good gay or the evil straight depending on whether you have or don't have that thing in your bio or profile. I reveal my orientation on sites where I feel it's relevant and, frankly, in my opinion FR is not one of those sites. Yet look at all the drama this month only - ice familiar is fatphobic! don't liking the art means you are a dog fucker! the never-ending crow lore racist drama on DR! I am 110% sure that there will be people (and there will be a lot of them, considering how the community of FR looks like) who will scrutinize anyone without a specific badge in their bio or profile for any out of context homophobic/racist/pedo/whatever comment in order to prove how evil and cancel-able they are. Look no further than that comment about gemajgall and kaiba - I commented that it's cringy now but it was a very usual and standard way of writing fanfiction some years ago (and if you say that you will never do anything like that, you're lying to yourself: in ten years you will look back and think a lot of things you do now are cringy and yikes).
No, thank you, FR "community" is certainly not mature enough to understand that sometimes there are more options than the good gay and the evil straight: there are those that choose not to reveal personal information, that not all gays are pure and perfect and that not all straights are evil homophobes.
