It was suggested because every time, without fail, it becomes the same discussion about 888/Brightmyth and staff favoritism. Folks were tired of the same discussion, and Vasemod and I were tired of having to watch the same conversation (usually between the same group of people) devolve into petty non-salt related hand slapping.

And if Vasemod and I ban any talk about 888 festival shit, it looks like we're showing favoritism and would start another argument, so this was the best way to compromise.

on one hand I really feel for yall having to moderate all our salt but also it would on some level be absolutely hilarious for the "888 is shown favoritism" to shift from staff to you and vasemod like good lord we'd truly piss on the poor with the reading comprehension-
