The artist purposely drew hooves in the front and paws in the back. It's a change from the default design.
I like how it looks. I mean the animation is very wolf like but I can see what they were trying for.

The cirrus don't seem to have have sesamoid bones or pasterns so their feet aren't very horse shaped. The dewclaw looks like it was an attempt to make up for that but it's really not helping.
