mostly agreed. "fathomsearch maren" was a top pick for me, as were any of MV's entries (as usual) and "sink down beneath"; "prehistoric sea" is of course really good but i kind of wish something that wasn't a pose swap for a previous winner had been given priority. i really like(d) "loreley" but wasn't actually expecting it to make it to the winners' circle.
there's nothing bad about the winners, but the selection is just odd to me given what had to be passed over.

and i straight up DO NOT understand why these hatchling picks. similar issue to MistJam, but this time around i felt like there were an especially strong selection of hatchling options which made it extra confusing.
