coming from a Jewish family, kelandry treating Judaism in this manner deeply bothers me, even if it's their special interest and point of study. if they are Jewish, they should know better than to treat the sacred scroll of the Jewish people as something they can just name things after. maybe they come from a more relaxed, reform Judaism household, but I was raised like that and know better. I also know better that it's likely unintentional for certain religious things to be blocked while others aren't, and would just talk to staff like a reasonable person instead of publicly jumping to assume malice immediately.

iunno. this is behaviour I'd expect from a very VERY young Jewish person, or gentiles who aren't thinking before acting.
