Eh, I personally think it's okay for treasure MP items to be priced over MP value. I am equally guilty of doing this, but I think of it as a convivence of not needing to wait or stalk for restock. However, because I am guilty of this, I am absolutely biased on this point of view. This is just something that's common in the MMOs I play too, and I very much will buy things over market value if it's effort/10 for me to go to the vendor. however, I can understand how you feel this way, but I don't think others are intending to take advantage of others. I would be upset if people were buying them out of ignorance instead of "I don't feel like waiting for restock". I just see it as playing the market, and I realllllyyy hope it's just mostly people like me who are buying it for that effort/10 reason.
Now for gems... absolutely predatory. I think there's people who do it for +5 gems, mostly to prevent these monsters from listing things that never go out of stock for mark up.
((Honestly, Ellipoo wasn't one of the ones really annoying me last time I was scroll flipping though. I forget who it was of the top of my head, but even they are nowhere near as bad as Carnivore was. Carnivore was the bane of my existence.))
