Not only that, but there's a specific issue with it being a Discord server in that you need to send your ID to an actual random, specific human (or channel) on Discord. This isn't going to be uploaded using any kind of obscuring technology, or automatically deleted, and whoever's checking them can't possibly be able to identify proper forms of ID from all around the world.
There's a reason you show your ID to, say, a bouncer, who has a look at it and gives it back, rather than just goes off with a photo of it for an unspecified amount of time and says they'll delete it.
