Ngl, I'm really glad the notion of hatching them has always had zero appeal for me. If you're hatching to sell, ~99% chance you're not going to get anything worth more than the egg itself, and to even get some profit back from okayish hatches you have to scry and advertise and ugh.

As for keeping them myself, I know dang well my opinion would always be like what it is when I snipe a pretty fodderg - 'Hmm, I kinda like this, but one color is just a shade off from perfect/wrong element/etc.' And what I do in those situations is launch breeding projects to get the perfect dragon. Which obviously would defeat the entire point of G1-ing.
