Yeah, to be honest, I sort of dislike the idea 'obes should keep this cool effect, because it makes them super special' because what if I want imperials to be super special?

That is why I like consistency. So, I can have a cool effect on the breeds I like, and others can have it on the breeds they like.

(and yeah, there will always be gene inconsistencies that are minor, simply due to how different breeds are shaped/posed. But those are usually, as said, minor, not a major change like the obe's mane)
