I think this is why the conversation on Saltmine got so bad. That's why (even though the anon has since apologized and I can see past it, but I still feel it's worth using as an example here) the people who are uncomfortable with this and see issue with it are getting called idiots, because it's what those people are portraying them to be, and thus a ton of fighting ensues and the subject becomes less directed towards Hemophobia and more towards the people defending Hemophobia, but all the people outside of the argument see is constant talks about that person in particular, and thus the water gets muddied.
