maaaan i really want to like koi but why is it so inconsistently colored. because. okay. sometimes the main color patches will have a contrast gradient (antique), sometimes the accent color has one (radioactive), sometimes both do (periwinkle), but mostly neither does, just a gradient from dark to light!

i can't figure out the internal logic for what gets what either. colors with super-defined accents like grapefruit, metals, and violet aren't even treated the same as each other. like yall i have been staring at scries for fifteen minutes somebody please help me
