Making a post of the rules to be linked back to. Also, there is an update, so read carefully.


1. No personally identifiable information. No real names, pictures of people (yes, even if they're posting selfies, this isn't on topic and not what we're here for), phone numbers, addresses, or anything reasonably close to this. (Usernames are totally fine.)

• Please do not be creepy and link people's facebook- that's just wrong. The comment won't even be screened, it will be outright deleted.
• This does not include posts made in public groups like FR related FB groups, reddit, etc. Just censor names if they're real names and not handles.

2. No porn, shock images (gore, death of animals/humans, etc.)

• This includes images in the Meme Threads.

3. Try to stay reasonably on topic. The topic is Flight Rising. The game. Not anyone's lives outside of it- this includes places like Furaffinity, SoFurry, DeviantArt, etc.

• The main exception is if it's screencaps for proof of art theft, black market deals etc. Not RP bullshit, not criminal activity.  

4. No harassment/encouraging people to harass others. Anonrerising is not your personal army. This means don't touch the poop - don't go to the person being wanked about here and goad them into seeing or responding to the wank threads, don't harass them.

5. Do not post links to exploits of Flight Rising's system. This includes bots, black market links, and Stylish scripts. Yes, Stylish is usually cosmetic, but most of the plugins are still considered bannable offenses on FR, so don't link to them.

• Dark Mode stuff is okay as they were okay'ed by staff.

6. "Official" threads- IE, the ones usually linked on the main body of a post, are created by mods. If one isn't in a post, don't make one yourself.

• Other threads like "fav/worst genes" etc that engage folks are okay :D

7. No wank/threads about criminal content. This means no pedophilia. This includes RP fetishes, RP forums, etc. It's a triggering subject for folks and it simply isn't allowed, anything regarding it will be screened.

• IF YOU THINK A PERSON/MINOR/ANIMAL IS IN DANGER, REPORT IT TO THE POLICE. Simply posting about it on a wank community and doing NOTHING for someone/something you believe to be in danger makes you JUST as shitty.
• This is not to defend anyone or protect anyone accused- this is for LIABILITY issues due to the location of where the mods live. We have to be careful about following laws.
• This means: No anti/proshipping discussion, because it almost ALWAYS comes to the subject of pedophilia. Just don't.

Elaboration of Rule 7: Anti vs Proship is basically a Purity/Censorship fandom war, and for most folks, there is no in between, which results in arguments that devolve into screaming matches of truly heinous shit. Because of how bad the arguments get, and because it has no place in this comm, the discussion of it isn't allowed.

8. No "Hi X" threads. You're on an anon community, you don't have proof.

9. Details are required for wank threads. Don't just post "X is a fuckin' asshole." Elaborate! We want DEETS. WHY are they an asshole???

• Flight Rising forum links, especially to individual posts, need to be archived/backed up, screencapped, whatever is possible/accessible to you at time of posting. FR staff is trigger happy with deleting entire forum posts instead of locking them, so it's best to archive/screencap them for salt .... I mean posterity.
• Due to FR making banned/locked accounts "invisible," please include direct links to profiles in question so folks can find them later!
• Drop. Names. This isn't SMR. We drop names here. Do not censor names. 

10. No multi-accounter witch hunts without BLATANT proof. People ARE allowed to make new accounts after being banned according to the mods. They do it all the time. Move on.

12. Try to keep wanker shit in the wanker thread, please! It's okay if a thread is posted in the wrong place, it happens, but try to keep it threads about specific users in the wanker thread to make it easier to find.

13. No politics or religion in the OT/Meme Threads. Y'all wanna be petty and argue like children? Go ahead. Have fun. But I will screen the thread and lock down the entire OT/Meme Thread in GENERAL if y'all can't be nice. This means no bigotry, no terf ignorance, slurs etc. Be salty, but don't be an asshole.

14. I can't believe I had to add this rule but: No wishing violence on people. This includes: wishing death or threatening violence for trivial things like typing/quirky behavior; wishing/baiting/encouraging suicide.

15. Do not link to Discord/Slack/IRC servers. Ask privately for details/links, but do not link them here, as it can- and likely will, knowing some of y'all- result in server raids.

Other notes:

• There is no rule about staying anonymous. People de-anon plenty for giveaways and the like. I highly discourage logging in to respond to wankers and criticisms, as this will only open up a shitstorm for everyone all around, but it isn't against the rules.
• If you wanna use your DW account to reply and avoid captchas, you do you, but I recommend not having any links to your FR account in your profile.
• FR mods DO read these comms- vasemod and I chat with two of them- this is why we don't allow the posting of functional (not cosmetic) scripts/black market links, etc.

Regarding IP addresses: vasemod  and I do NOT do anything with IP addresses except monitor for same-anons and identify troublemakers. We do nothing else with them.
