So I'll just say in my defense I just found out today that nearku was a minor. I don't know anything about them, and in my checking of their tumblr/FR account didn't see an age listed anywhere, but made the (poor) assumption that they were an adult based on their heavy spending habits on site. If I had known they were a minor I would have worded a lot of my comments aimed directly at them a lot differently.
And second, unfortunately the comment you're quoting was not directed at nearku, but someone in the comments of the DR post being talked about. If you look at the comments, I'm responding to nebulova-fr who is at first agreeing with (they later apologized and realized why what they were saying is harmful) and defending the screenshots of nearku. So I'm actually not addressing nearku in the quote you took, but I can understand why it appears like I might have been.
That being said I agree that knowing now that nearku is a minor I would have talked at them a lot differently and less aggressively as it's clear now knowing their age their advice comes from ignorance related to being young. However, I think it's unfair of you to assume that everyone talking about nearku realizes that they're a minor and are therefore horrible people bullying a child knowingly.
